NORDCHAIN can look back on many years of tradition and experience in the production of forest snow chains and anti- skid chains for professional use. These have been produced by NORDCHAIN since the 1930s.

The NORDICTRACTION GROUP is based in Looima, Finland. The group also includes the Clark Tracks brand, the leading supplier of traction belts for forest machines. The products are sold worldwide for professional use in Forestry .

The long tradition and experience as well as the quality management according to ISO 9001 ensure that the forest snow chains and anti- skid chains from NORDCHAIN have a long service life even under extremely high conditions.

What makes NORDCHAIN forest chains special?

  1. The fit: NORDCHAIN works closely with original equipment manufacturers and tire manufacturers to always ensure the ideal fit.
  2. The U-Spikes: The distinguishing mark of the NORDCHAIN chains. The U-Spikes are welded by pressure welding under high mechanical pressure. This makes them particularly resilient.
  3. The U-shape of the spikes can prevent branches from getting caught. In addition, twisting under one-sided load is prevented. So the pulling force is retained.
  4. The running net: NORDCHAIN offers forest snow chains and anti-skid chains with running nets of different densities. For good self-cleaning, for example, an open walkway net for use on loamy soils is advantageous. So you will always find the ideal chain for your application.
  5. The geometry: The chain mesh consists of interwoven links that lie flat on the tire. The mesh construction prevents spikes from twisting.
  6. The material: Extra hardened Scandinavian boron steel. This is case-hardening steel with a carbon content of less than 0.2%, which is ideal for case hardening.
  7. Production: After cutting, assembling and welding, the chains go through case hardening. This production process gives the chains their characteristic property: hard surface combined with a soft, tough core. This makes them particularly wear-resistant.
