INDEXATOR XR 500 compact rotators are the long-lasting solution for pendulum suspension on material handling machines from 45 t to 70 t operating weight and Safe Work Loads (SWL) for e.g. Timber grapples of around 12,500 kg in continuous use . XR 500 rotators are also suitable for sorting , multipurpose and demolition grabs for permanent attachment to excavators with an operating weight of 25 to 32 t .

Like all XR rotators , the compact rotator XR 500 is characterized by its modular design with a decoupled drive and large slewing ring bearing. The forces are conducted outside via the stable housing and the large bearing . The motor and drive are spared the loads and twisting . Motor and bearing can be exchanged independently of each other. This ensures low costs and the best sustainability . XR rotators are not sensitive to water, they are often used for dredging .

XR 500 has the particularly powerful motor of the XR 600. There is also a version with an additional channel for central lubrication with an M10x1 connection.
