How do the hydraulic damping systems from HULTDINS work?

Unsprung vehicles with one- sided load in the Front loader , in the shovel or on the fork of the forklift tend to rock . Then the driving speed has to be reduced , which costs time and productivity drops . The vibrations can be effectively reduced with a HULTDINS damping system. How do HULTDINS hydraulic damping systems work?

Depending on the size of the crane , the damping system consists of several accumulators (= pressure accumulators) with different preloads. If there are jerky movements , the pressure peaks are absorbed by the gas bubbles and eliminated . This works through the use of specially adapted throttle valves .

The hydraulic crane damping provides optimal protection against vibrations and oscillations . HULTDINS builds them for all types of cranes, from the smallest timber trailer to large container cranes . The large crane manufacturers such as Palfinger Epsilon, Loglift, Mesera and Penz install them in their cranes as an option.

Crane dampers always consist of a set consisting of a lifting cylinder damping and a swing cylinder damping .

HULTDINS offers hydraulic drive vibration damping for wheel loaders , Front loader and forklifts . The use of driving vibration damping significantly reduces wear on the machine and protects the driver's health .

The hydraulic travel vibration damping consists of gas -filled accumulators (= pressure accumulators) in combination with specially adapted throttle valves .

If you compare the suspension of a car , you can compare an accumulator with a compression spring and the throttle valve with a shock absorber . Optimally designed, they support driving comfort in every position of the vehicle .

The assembly is very simple : you install a T-piece at the connection of the cylinder and connect it to the accumulator .

The hydraulic drive vibration damping works - with or without a load , over short or long distances . If weight and distance are always constant , one accumulator is sufficient . If you want to be optimally equipped for all movements and weight , then up to four batteries can be installed .

An optional electronic shutdown device is available . You can then switch the cushioning on and off without having to move the lift arms .
