The TXL tracks from CLARCK TRACKS, also known under the names TXL 150 or Terra XL150 , offer optimal soil protection with maximum traction . There is no other band that so masterfully combines traction and soil protection . The secret behind it is the 150 mm wide , profiled base plate . The micro -relief of the floor slab creates a network with the floor surface , which can transmit large tensile forces and thus avoid slippage .

The extra - wide base plates with minimal gaps ensure a large contact area . By using TXL bogie tapes , you can reduce the contact surface pressure by up to 50% and thus prevent soil compaction and lanes . The TXL tapes enable the lowest contact surface pressure of all the bogie tapes tracks in the CLARK TRACKS product range . This achieves optimal flotation , which means that the track “ floats ” on the surface.

In the standard version , the floor panels are welded onto the connecting link , the width of the tread is approximately tire width + 100 mm .

With the popular tire size 710 / 45-26.5, the track plate width is approx. 800 mm , with 800 mm tires approx. 900 mm . Further series widths are 930 mm and 1000 mm base plate width .

The widening of the base plate can be symmetrical or asymmetrical . This makes it possible to optimally use the installation space on the machine and to maintain an acceptable external width of the machine despite the wide belts . The TXL base plate is so stable that one-sided widenings of 250 mm over the connecting link and total widths of 1340 mm are possible .

We recommend using the 1000 mm floor slabs wherever possible. The outside width of many forwarders is then approx. 3300 mm . This works in many stocks and the effect is overwhelming - especially if there are still old lanes . The old tracks can be eliminated by overlapping driving styles .

The outstanding performance of the TXL belts is particularly evident when thinning hardwood stands on deep loam soils on slopes . Most users are amazed at the climbing ability of the wide TXL tapes on slopes.

For use on slopes and in winter , we also recommend the use of spikes . The standard version includes one spike per base plate . The spike is applied approx. 250 mm from the outer edge of the joint inwards . The spike is arranged alternately on the left and right . If you want to use the belts in winter too , you should choose the option with 2 spikes in staggered rows . With this arrangement you can also drive on icy roads and increase the lateral guidance on the slope and the propulsion on thick deciduous branches . The adhesion can be further increased with the 2-3-2 spikes option , then alternately 2 or 3 spikes are welded onto the base plate . The rows are arranged offset for maximum interlocking .

If you want to drive on asphalt roads , you choose the option : " without Spikes".

The option of spikes " arranged completely outside " is particularly gentle on gravel roads and offers a little additional lateral guidance .

The TXL tracks are optionally available with 24 mm or, for heavy-duty use , with 28 mm Haggis UltraLink connecting links from CLARK TRACKS.

Haggis UltraLink links from CLARK TRACKS are a significant advancement that can significantly reduce wear and tear . The pins of the connecting links are no longer round , but oval . Since the connection is only subjected to tension , the oval shape ensures that a much larger surface transfers the force right from the start . Retensioning is also rarely required when using Haggis UltraLink connecting links .
