tracks for soft floors

Our aim is to impair the forest habitat as little as possible through the timber harvest. This is a particular challenge on soft soils. The use of traction and "universal belts" quickly leads to deep lanes and thus to visible "floor damage". CLARK TRACKS is at home in Scotland. Steep slopes and boggy soils are the norm here. The CLARK TRACKS range of belts for soil protection and soft floors is correspondingly extensive.

Here we present the CLARK TRACKS models for soft floors:

Flotation 15 (FL15)

FL15 is very suitable for light to medium-sized forwarders and harvesters . It provides very good flotation on wet and boggy soils and at the same time, thanks to the two edges, good traction on slopes . It is comparatively light and therefore particularly suitable for light machines such as John Deere 810B, Valmet 820, Valmet 830, Komatsu 835, Ponsse Gazelle, Ecolog 554, Logset 4F, Gremo 950, Rottne F10 and Sampo FR28 .

The base plate forms a 120 mm wide U-profile. For better power transmission between the base plate and the tire, a bead is formed on the underside of the U-profile . The base plate can be widened by up to 75 mm beyond the joints in order to further increase the load-bearing capacity. FL15 is comparable to Olofsfors ECO-U ™.

Flotation 16 (FL16)

This variant is best suited for medium and heavy machines . It also consists of a U-profile base plate with a width of 120 mm; the material thickness is adapted to the heavier machines . With the FL16 , too, the base plate can be widened by up to 75 mm beyond the joints .

Super Flotation 15 (SFL15)

The base plate SFL15 corresponds in the middle to the model FL15 . The base plate tapers out flat on the sides and is slightly curved inwards. The base plate is 150 mm wide on the joints and on the widening. This results in a large contact area and protects roots and roots that spread flat. The flat sides protect the paths and the machine is easier to steer . In the middle , the two edges of the U-profile ensure good traction . The SFL15 is used on harvesters and forwarders with a payload of up to 15 t .

Super Flotation 16 (SFL16)

SFL16 is based on the FL16 base plate. It is widened beyond the joints. The widening is slightly curved inwards to protect the root approaches. The base plate is 150 mm wide on the joint and on the widening. In the middle, the U-profile has a width of 120 mm. SFL16 is a good solution for heavy machinery that works both on boggy soils and on slopes .

All Terrain Flotation (ATF)

ATF is the latest development from CLARK TRACKS for soft floors. The base plate is shaped into a 100 mm wide V in the middle , on the side it becomes a 120 mm wide U-profile , on the joint and beyond the joint the base plate with a width of 150 mm tapers gently. The tape is available in widths of 900 mm and 1,000 mm with symmetrical widening . The broadening is slightly bent inwards to protect roots and roots that spread flat.

The tape has found many friends in a short time because of its versatile usability . It combines very good traction on slopes , made possible by the V-shape edges , with very good flotation on soft and bog soils , made possible by the large surface. The tape is best of all tapes for soft ground for deep snow . The snow is pushed out through the gaps between the V-shaped plates . The self-cleaning of the plate is very good as a result.

CLARK TRACKS ATF has a wide range of uses. It is suitable for soft and bog soils , but also for sand and clay soils . It can be used on forwarders up to approx. 15 t payload , combination machines and harvesters .
